Birmingham four-piece The Clause mix '60s swagger, '80s groove and '90s attitude with big, modern indie-rock choruses. Formed by school friends, they've built their reputation the old-fashioned way - years of gigging, packed headline shows and a growing army of fans singing every word back at them.
Their sound sits somewhere between indie rock, Britpop and indie-disco: punchy guitars, infectious grooves and songs made for sweaty festival tents and bouncing crowds. Their debut album Victim of a Casual Thing landed in 2025, hitting No. 1 on the UK Independent Albums Chart and breaking into the UK Top 20.
